I had the pleasure of working with Victor Oakes from Oakes Custom Homes on my new home build which was just completed in 2019.  I was completely satisfied with the quality of both his work and his management of the entire project.

Victor presented me with a detailed budget which we reviewed together.  He explained the process he takes with a new build, as well as each line item on the budget.  He took the time to hear what I was looking for in the house and ensured that it was captured in the budget / plan. I feel that Victor understood what my priorities were and worked to make it happen. 

From the beginning, Victor kept me well informed on the progress of the project.  He regularly updated me on the work itself as well as any variances in the budget vs actual costs.  He provided me with options and then ample lead time when making decisions.  He provided suggestions and advice, which is something that I expected and appreciated.  I feel that Victor provided a quality product while keeping costs under control.
